Revive EV Charging Network
Revive is the publicly owned EV charging network for the West of England, created by the four local authorities covering Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and North Somerset. On the current network, users register for a Revive account and then pay-as-you-go to charge.

Revive EV Charging Network switching to a new app
We’re making it easier for drivers to use Revive.
Revive is moving to a new platform, with a new app designed to make charging simpler and more convenient. This page explains what is changing, what you may need to do, and where to go for support before, during and after the move.
A new Revive app, coming soon, will enable drivers to access charge points more easily, helping to create a smoother and more accessible charging experience.
This upgrade is part of wider work being delivered through the Bristol City Leap partnership to upgrade and grow the region’s EV charging infrastructure, helping more people switch to cleaner travel and supporting Bristol’s net zero ambitions.
What’s changing?
As part of this move, Revive charge points will operate on a new software platform run by Fuuse. A dedicated Revive app will be available for users to download.
This means:
- A new Revive app will be launched for drivers to start and manage charging sessions
- Existing Revive accounts will not transfer across. Existing usernames and passwords for the current Revive system will not work
- Existing Revive user RFID cards will not transfer across either
- Drivers will need to create a brand-new account in the new app
- The new platform will provide an improved user experience and support future network growth
If you already have a Fuuse account (for example, if you have been using the street lighting column EV charge points in Bristol), you will be able to use the Revive charge points on your existing Fuuse account after the move to the new system; however, you could still set up a new Revive account with the new Revive app if you prefer.
The new Revive App will include the option to purchase an RFID card and to be kept up to date with Revive news and offers. Further upgrades to existing charge points, as well as installations of new charge points, are planned from 2027.
What drivers need to do
If you currently use Revive charge points, you will need to complete the following steps once the new system goes live:
- Download the new Revive app
The app will soon be available on iOS and Android.
- Create a new account
You will need to register again in the new app. Existing Revive account details will not carry over.
- Start charging through the app
Once registered, follow the in-app instructions to start and manage your charging session. You can also purchase an RFID card if you wish.
Important information for existing users
If you already use the Revive network, please note:
- Your current Revive account will not transfer to the new platform
- You must create a new account when the app becomes available
- On-site signage at charge points will help direct you to the new app
- Step-by-step guidance will also be available in the app
Why this change is happening
Moving Revive to a new platform is an important step in improving the charging experience for drivers across the region.
It will help create a stronger foundation for future improvements, including upgrades to existing infrastructure and expansion of the network over time.
This supports wider work through Bristol City Leap to grow low-carbon infrastructure in Bristol and make cleaner travel simpler and more accessible for residents, businesses and visitors.
