Henbury and Brentry Energy Efficiency Refurbishment Project
Bristol City Leap is delivering a new energy efficiency upgrade programme across Henbury and Brentry, starting with around 125 homes in year one, 300 homes in year two, and 425 in year three. This work is part of a wider project being delivered on behalf of Bristol City Council to improve the sustainability, comfort, and energy efficiency of homes across the city.
The project aims to improve the insulation of homes, helping to keep them warmer in winter and cooler in summer, thereby reducing energy use and lowering bills. It will also improve ventilation to maintain healthy air quality and prevent damp. The work is expected to be carried out in phases and completed by April 2028.
What energy efficiency work is being delivered?
As part of the Henbury and Brentry Energy Efficiency Refurbishment Project, we are carrying out a range of improvements to make homes warmer, healthier, and more energy efficient. These upgrades will help reduce heat loss, improve ventilation, and lower energy bills for residents.
These works not only contribute to a more sustainable Bristol but also deliver immediate benefits for residents. The improvements will lead to significant reductions in energy consumption, lower heating costs, and a more comfortable living space, while also enhancing the appearance of the housing.
Here are the steps we follow in the retrofit process.
